1 cup butter, softened
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 - 2 tbsp whipping cream

In mixer bowl cream butter until fluffy; add confectioners' sugar gradually beating until smooth.  Add the vanilla and half the cream; beat 1 minute.  Add more cream if needed for spreading consistency.

Use to frost your favorite cake or cupcakes.
