1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
3 large eggs
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix the cocoa and sugar together. Beat the sugar/cocoa mixture, butter, corn syrup, and eggs together by hand. Stir in the nuts.
Pour the brownie batter into the pie shell and bake at 375 degrees 40 to 50 minutes, just until set. Do not overbake.
Delicious served warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream.
