1/2 cup butter softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
5 (1.55-oz each) milk chocolate candy bars
1 cup marshmallow creme

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan; set aside.

Cream butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Set aside 1/2 cup of the mixture for topping.

Press the remaining mixture into the prepared pan. Place the candy bars over the crust mixture and spread the marshmallow creme over the candy bars. Sprinkle the reserved 1/2 cup of crust mixture over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.

Cut into 18 bars for serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container.

I got this recipe from a Simple and Delicious magazine (I believe) years ago.
