JUICY PEACH CRISP

6 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, sliced
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup white whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

Place the peaches in the bottom of the prepared baking dish; sprinkle with the almond extract.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flours, sugars, cinnamon and salt; using a pastry cutter or two knives, cut the butter into the mixture until it resembles crumbs.

Sprinkle the flour mixture in an even layer over the peaches.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until bubbly and browned.

Yummy served with ice cream!
