2 cups sugar
Pinch of salt
2 cups pecans
1 cup buttermilk
1 stick margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix sugar, salt, and buttermilk; cook 5 minutes. Add margarine and pecans. Cook 5 minutes more, to a soft ball stage. Add vanilla. Beat until cool, pour onto a buttered platter. Very good!
