1/4 olive or canola oil
1 (2-layer size) box Devil's Food Cake mix
1 box (4-serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups water
6-oz chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour the oil over the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Add the dry cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and chocolate chips; mix until well blended.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Note: This cake is so rich and moist that frosting isn't necessary. If ypu desire to dress up the cake, sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar. or more chips.
