TUMBLEWEEDS

1 can (12-oz) salted peanuts

1 can (7-oz) potato sticks

3 cups butterscotch chips

3 tbsp creamy peanut butter

Combine the peanuts and potato sticks in a bowl and set aside.

In a microwave, heat the chips and peanut butter for 1 to 2 minutes or until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Add to the peanut/potato sticks mixture and stir to coat evenly. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until set, about 5 minutes.

Store in an airtight container.

Yield: 4 1/2 dozen

Note: You can cut back on sodium by using unsalted peanuts
